Hi,

I am using Starry Night Pro for Mac to create a list of targets. When I import this list into CCDAutoPilot, it seems that it is not imported correctly and all the targets have to be manually corrected in order not to get error messages from CCDAutoPilot 3. Any way I can prevent this?

Please post (attach) a SNP target list for investigation.

sjjan,

The spurious character had to do with an OSX/Windows translation. I believe it is fixed. Please try out the attached ccdautopilot.exe with various combinations of SNP target lists and let me know how it works.

Thanks.

Hello John,

I renamed the CCDAP app and copied your test exe file and started it up. It loads the observationlist textfile, but on the dec. field there is still a strange character loaded after the degrees number. Also, when I click on "edit" I get a crash with the error message below:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Looking forward to hear from you. The starparty is cancelled for this weekend and postponed for 2 weeks due to very bad weather here in Holland.

Sincerely yours,

Sjoerd Jan ter Welle

sjjan,

Use the attached ccdautopilot.exe replacement. The zip also includes the SNP target file you posted earlier that I successfully imported into the target page.

The SNP target file you reposted can be imported by me as well now. I will give it a few more tries. It seems to be solved. I tried it with the latest release 3.42.4 of CCDAP3.
