For some reason, when I direct CCDap to create subfolders for the calibration images it places them in a folder I have not specified. I have looked in all the menus and cannot find the menu item to specify where the subfolders will be created.

Thanks,
Norm

Hi Norm,

Can you post a log of the failed attempt to put calibration folders where you want?

Thanks.

Here is the log file:

19:25:21
19:25:21 Run starting...
19:25:21 Log saved to: G:\200801\20080130\CCDAutoPilot_Logs\ccdap20080204_192520.log
19:25:21 *** Review setup before starting session ***
19:25:21
19:25:21 Root save path: G:\200801\20080130\
19:25:21 System profile: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\CCDWare\CCDAutoPilot3\System Profiles\ccdap342.app
19:25:21 Target List:
19:25:21 Start sequence number: 1

Notice the default Root save path is G:\200801\20080130\...this is not the path I wish to save to. I save by date and develop a new file every night I image. There does not seem to be a menu item in CCDap to set this parameter and I don't know why it chooses this particular date (20080130) as the default. That particular night the file I was using was 20080204. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to check your entry on the Options page under Image Management. If I understand what you want, enter G:\ as the root save path, check Autogenerate sub-folders and every night's activities will be saved in the G:\ root. See the help system for more details.

John,

I had done this, but apparently you cannot just write the new default directory in the space provided. It only works when I hit the directory tree button to the right and specify the directory that way. Anyway the problem is solved...thanks again.
