Hi John,
I recently purchased a Boltwood Clartiy II sensor. I am using is to protect equipment in a 12 foot astrohaven clamshell. I have spoken to Doug George at Diff. Limited as well as the Astrohaven folks, and there doesn't seem to be any easy way to communicate with the dome contoller hardware via the jack from the Boltwood controller. Would you consider adding a "run program" line to your software in the Cloud Sensor area? This would be similar to the one you have in "Shut Down" section of the Options page. I have a "close dome" program that I could insert and this then would provide a software solution. I realize it is not as reliable as a hardware solution, but would be better than nothing. I would still monitor closely under questionable conditions, but it would be nice to have a backup. Thanks for considering this, Kent |

Hi Kent,
I think CCDAP already does what you want. See the Cloud Sensor topic in the help system: Upon initiating the shutdown event, the tasks specified on the Options page under "3. Shutdown", if checked, will be executed. If these options are not checked, they will not be executed. Won't this do what you want? John CCDAutoPilot author |

Hi John,
You are absolutely right. Guess it would help to read the "help" section a little more carefully. Sorry about that! Take care, Kent |
