It would appear to not be possible to setup a multi-target run that uses multiple cameras. For example, first target uses camera A, second target uses camera B.
I sometimes find that the early target would be best at say a narrow FOV while a later target would be best at say a wide FOV. Currently right now this is two separate runs with manual intervention between the runs to switch the software over to the alternate camera setup - nothing physically changes, just software setup. Any thoughts on the feasibility of this in perhaps a future version of CCDAP? Thanx, Paul Howard |

Hi Paul,
AFAIK, the camera control programs' automation interface do not support changing cameras. This, together with driver issues SIBG universal driver in Maxim for example and no way to differentiate except by powering up) makes this whole proposition difficult to maybe impossible. After researching this quite a bit on my own, it is clear that there is no clean way to manage 2 different imaging cameras powered up at the same time on one PC from CCDSoft.
So in that case, this is not an issue CCDAP can solve. I would not know about Maxim but I assume the issue might be the same. Emmanuel |

John,
Thanx. I rather figured as much. Another question - have you considered adding support for the ROAG? Paul |
