I'm having a problem with autoguiding after a meridian flip driving the star out of the window. First - let me start by saying the Meridian flip with my MI-250 L4 went great with my new rotator, the image and guide star were right on after the flip - CCDAP works like magic there.
The autoguider was working great before the flip, but after the flip seems to go the wrong direction. Any ideas? I'm attaching my log file from tonight. This is my first attempt at an automated flip, and I've had the rotator only a short time. Thanks for any help in advance! Steve Riley ccdap20070131_191254.log (11 KB, 100 downloads) Log file |

Hi Steve,
You are set up to use an external guide scope with the same focal length (3000 mm) as the image scope. They also look like default values. Are you really using an external guide scope? If not, select Self Guided for the Guide mode on the Settings page and Initialize. John CCDAutoPilot author |

Shoot - thanks. That's the 2nd time that setting has gotten off somehow.
I'm using the internal guider in my ST10 camera. I'll try this out again tomorrow, full moon is a great time to experiment! And the weather in California is good. Steve Riley |
