Poor Seeing |
Hello all,
When I have finished a cession for example in Ha filter during a night, the next night I want to make RGB pictures and I want to use the last Ha picture to be at one or two pixel on the same object, what is the process please?. I precise that I use CCDSOFT/The sky as solve plate because MaxIm /PinPoint fails at every shoot. Thanks and see you later on the web |

Excellent Seeing |
Hi Jo,
Save your Ha "target" in a "target" file. Click on the Targets tab and then select your target from the targets box, then click on Tarket List | Save as, give it a name save it. When you are ready to shoot your RBG on another night, after CCDAP3 loads, click on Target List | Load, and your target data will be loaded back in. Now all you have to do is setup your light frames for the RGB exposures and start the session. CCDAP3 will put the scope right back on the target coordinates you used for the Ha exposures. Saving targets is a great way to let CCDAP3 go back and collect data many time at the same place over many nights. I use it all the tiem. HTH ..... |
