I need help on debugging a problem with MaxIm DL. After successfully processing several targets the run aborts after the following error message: I:TI2, MaxIm DL 4: Unknown error.
What does "I:TI2,.." mean? Any suggestions on how to start debugging? Typical log attached. Thanks, Richard Sabo. ccdap20080403_210122.log (7 KB, 77 downloads) CCDAP3 log file |

Hi Richard,
The "unknown error" is returned from Maxim and it indicates "something" failed within Maxim during the Camera.Expose command. Maxim doesn't give a lot to go on here. A good protocol is to start all control applications each evening, instead of leaving them up and running from night to night. First, power up the camera, allow it to connect through your computer with all the USB beeps and boops and then start Maxim and connect to the camera. Reverse the process when shutting down in the morning. Also, make sure your SBIG drivers are current. HTH, John CCDAutoPilot author |

Thanks, John. That's my routine. I'll keep working on different configurations.
