Hello Nikos,

This is an indication of a registry error in your PC. It may be the result of using a registry "cleaner" or something else that modifies the registry inappropriately. Try uninstalling CCDAP and then turn off any registry utility programs. Reinstall CCDAP and see if you are then able to access the program. If you get the same error, then the registry modification may have been fatal to CCDAP installation. At that point, the only (painful) alternative is to reinstall Windows!

Do you have another PC you can try?

Yes Nikos, version 3.41.5 is correct. Oncee installed, it can be updated via the web to the current version 3.41.9.

The only time I saw this error was during early Vista testing. Once 3.40 was released, the error did not reappear. Are you using Vista? If so, try turning off UAC. Also, make sure you have all Vista updates.

If you are not using Vista, what OS are you using?

I've not run into this before am running out of ideas, Nikos.

On a guess, try downloading and installing .NET 1.1 framework and the service pack for it. .NET 1.1 shouldn't be necessary but...

It might be worth a try.

You shouldn't have any problems with the new version, Nikos. If you do, let me know.
