After removing CCDAP3 and installing the new ver. 3.01 I did a test run.
The dome opened.
Plate solves are with the LUM filter. The pattern of filter issues occur after Guider Errors exceed the limit and CCDAP reacquires a guide star. The plate solve then is with the LUM filter and it did not change back to the color filter when it went back to checking guider error. The then following image was taken with the LUM filter not the color. I only had 4 images for each color so this pattern might not hold.
In the final set the last two images were with LUM but the last image had not exceeded the guider error limit.

The shutdown sequence was complete. park, cooler off, home dome, close shutter, etc.
Darks and bias were completed. At that point there was no message in the status log that it was waiting for dawn. The log entry stopped with the download of the last bias.
