Hi John,

I'm trying CCDAP3 and I like it so far however when I hit the Initialize button I get an error message that says Unhandled exception and then it gives me the option to quit or continue. If I try to continue the program locks up and I have to go to Task Manager to get out if I press Quit then the program ends. It seems to have to do with the first Plate solve with Pinpoint. It sets the image sacale at infinity before it locks up. If I don't initialize and just run as normal then Pinpoint plate solves without a problem. Is this something important? It seems to run okay without it. I would attach a log but it seems as though this procedure does not produce one.

Also it would be nice if the Status window could be minimized or at least the right side of it, it's pretty big.

John, I meant to say the left side of the status window could well be minimized most of the time.

Hi John,

I found the problem. I hadn't entered the scope info in Maxim, I also found the way to minimize the status window and the log.

Thanks,
Ron

Good detective work, Ron.

Version 3.01 and the soon-to-be-released 3.02 have improved error handling/notification in this area. With later versions, you would have received a more user friendly warning Smiler
