We're having a problem with DDW switching the check box from "over axis" (our proper setting all the time) to "under axis" with the meridian flip. This is destroying my data after the meridian flip, since the scope is pointed at the edge of the dome.
Technical Innovations acknowledges a bug in the software, which causes the software to randomly switch from "over" to "under," but I am wondering if, in addition to that bug, CCDAP tells it to switch. Or even if there's a way for CCDAP to tell it that I really want it to stay at "over" after the meridian flip.
This is an internal issue in DDW. Mike Rice can fill you in on the details. There is no automation interface to the over/under issue. I don't know what the current preference for dome control is at NMS. Again, Mike is your best bet.

Thanks, John. I am talking with Mike, but I thought I'd see if there was something in CCDAP which might either be causing this, or if there was an easy something you could put in CCDAP to ask us if we want "over" or "under" checked, and then to have CCDAP make sure that the right box is checked after the meridian flip.
