Hello,

I may be brain dead but using MaxDL - Pinpoint - offaxis guider with 402 I sucessfully Initialized the system and watched it in MaxDL get a good calibration. I then started a light image and the guider would give the wrong commands and would move off to the left. I have tried this both times with the same result. The last result ended in a page fault.

I have gone though the tutorial several times and It looks like I am setup correctly.

I prob. have brain freeze of some sort,,,, any ideas?

There are errors in the tutorial and it needs revision. First off, you should initialize at an angle slightly off the cardinal points with CCDSoft. 5 degrees or so will do.

Second, see the help system under Settings | Equipment | Guider. After initializing as above, see if Self guidedR works better with your OAG. I use it with mine.
