Hello all,

I'm getting familiar with (and increasingly liking) CCDAP. Can't test it's full capabilities yet due to the weather, but I was able to run a session tonight shooting the bottom of the cloud layer. Needless to say, I didn't try any focusing or plate solving<g>.

What I'm curious about is this line that appears at various points in the log...

"17:47:17 P:TO1, : Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))"

I'm not really sure what is going wrong (if anything), as the session completed without aborting. The above line is followed either by "tracking off failed" or "tracking on failed", yet I have it set up for unguided operation.

I did notice that the dark frames were not saved, but am guessing this is because the ADU threshold wasn't reached...due to the objective cover being left in place during the run.

I'd prefer to iron out as many problems as possible during the day or clouds as I'm sure I'll be plenty busy sorting it all out on the first clear night.

I did a search and found another post on this topic, but it looks like it ran out without much of a conclusion.

Flat exposure range is from 2 to 30 sec.

It appears you haven't set the Telescope|Server settings properly. See Walkthrough, step 4 in the Help system.
