Hi!
I'm wondering if we can use the Maxim Dl's autofocus (Observatory Control/Focus tab) in order to perform all autofocus events for CCDAutopilot. In CCDautopilot I see that there are only "None-FocusMax-@Focus" options for focus control. I think Maxim's way is a more "clean" and efficient. Thanks in advance Regards, Ifikratis |

Ifikratis,
The focusing implementation in Maxim is a sub-set of the more robust FocusMax. Since FocusMax is used by the vast majority of both aesthetic imagers and science work, I have no plans at this point to include Maxim's focus routine. I encourage you to spend the time to get familiar with the more robust FocusMax. It is really the gold standard for automation. John CCDAutoPilot author |
