John,
It is clearly the sign of a great program when I am finally finding, and using, a feature after several years of use. Last night I was waiting for my Apogee U16 to cool down when I thought I'd try the Cooler Start Delay feature on the Options Tab. It worked perfectly for the U16 - allowing it to reach the set point of -20 C before starting the image run. Unfortunately, it also set the Autoguider temperature to -20 C which kept my ST 402 at 100% cooling for the duration of the run as it tried unsuccessfully to reach the lower temperature. I'm using CCDSoft to control the cameras and wonder if there is any way to use the Cooler Start Delay just to set the main imaging camera temperature. I appreciate any suggestions. |

Hi Wes,
See this link: http://ccdware.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1141040351...771040272#4771040272 I think it will do what you want. Run this script at the end of the startup section on the options page. John CCDAutoPilot author |
