Hi!
When I had focusmax 3.2 CCDAP sent me the message that it needed Focusmax 3.3 at least.
So I went to CCDWAREs download section to download the 3.4.1 version patch for focusmax.
I made sure I installed it in the same directory as the older version. It did not work.
I tried uninstalling the old 3.2 version. But now CCDAP tells me that Focusmax is not even installed. =

What should I do next?

Hi Doris,

The FocusMax file on the CCDWare site IIRC is only the .exe file. It is not a full install. If you have uninstalled FocusMax, then try this. Download the full install version from the CCDWare website (Ver 3.2.1). Unzip and install this software. Next download the "Patch" version (Ver 3.4.1) and unzip. Then just replace the "FocusMax.exe file in the FocusMax program folder with the 3.4.1 ver you just unzipped. This should get you going. Make sure you check all your setup parameter in FocusMax so it connects to your camera control software and focuser and you should be back in business. HTH ......
