John,
I wonder if you have figured out a way to reduce the nightly build up of SyncImage files on the hard drive. I just had another great night of imaging (and sleep) with CCDAutopilot 4 but accumulated 84 syncimages at 8.2 MB each on the hard drive. I usually manually delete these files each morning but wondered if had a way in CCDAP to optionally delete them following a run. I'm running XP on a Mac Mini in the observatory and am limited to 45 GB on the HD so a few GB's of SyncImage files accumlated over a few sessions take up valuable space. If there is no option in CCDAP I'll keep deleting each morning but thought it couldn't hurt to ask. |

Wes,
It sounds like you have Trace ON, which prevents deletion of successful plate solving. Go to Help/Troubleshooting and uncheck Trace. John CCDAutoPilot author |

Nice diagnosis. I do have Trace on (leftover from beta testing days) and will gladly turn it off.
Thanks for the fast response John. |
