Where did you download it from? I just did the check for updates and downloaded it and it definitely is an EXE (it starts up the installer).

Sorry for being too long.
I again downloaded the .88 by using PemPro.
Again it opens with Microsoft Word, and displays on the screen during the download.

I just tried downloading it via PEMPro and it runs ok for me. It is definitely not a text file.

Your system must have something changing the behavior of running a downloaded EXE. Go to the ccdware.com site and try downloading it from the downloads page there. Save the EXE to a file on your disk then run it from disk.
