Over & over again we're warned in the PDF directions, that you need to know your EXACT image scale & such before you run the program.
I'm worried that I'll screw my mount up MORE than it is! I'm using a Meade 10" Lx200-R and the cam that I'll be capturing data with tonight is my SBIG ST402-ME. ST2000 is in the shop at SBIG but tonight I'd like to try the smaller chip. I know the chip pixels are 9x9. What else do I need to do now to get the info PemPro needs? |

Don't worry too much about image scale. Just use PEMPro's Calibration Wizard to calculate image scale for PEC. The image scale is also calculated when you run the Polar Alignment Wizard. Again, there is no need to try to figure it out ahead of time.
