Hi Steve,

I found a peculiar circumstance that causes plate solving to crash. When I moved my FITS files to a drive folder on a drive letter that was on a remote system (a networked drive) and selected one of those images and then press the solve button, a JIT error occurred.

When I moved this same file back to the local computer running CCDNavigator, it solved just fine.

I've attached the error log that I captured.

Thanks,
Jonathan

I think the problem is that PinPoint will not retrieve a networked file even though the control being used let's you locate them.

I'll put a trap on this so exceptions aren't thrown but you'll have to put the files on the same machine.

Already all the pinpoint references are trapped.

When this occurred, was the little popup on the screen that says "Plate Solving"?

No. The Plate Solving message only occurs when it seems to work. This JIT happened after pressing Solve but before anything else.

Thanks,
Jonathan
