Hi, I was able to narrow down the cause of this issue with Windows 7 x64 after talking with you at AIC. If you run both CCDN2 and TheSky6 as Administrator (right click the .exe and pick Run as Administrator), everything works. If CCDN2 is not running as an Admin and TheSky6 is (or visa versa), the current running version of the TheSky warns about double launching another copy of TheSky after clicking on the button.
This seems like hopefully an easy permission issue fix. Hope this helps! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Ozy, 2009-11-02_at_2.07.26_AM.png (9 KB, 4 downloads) |

I don't see this behavior on my Windows 7 system. I run (and launch) TheSky6 with it set to run as Administrator too, but I run CCDN2 without that setting. It launches TheSky6 just fine without error messages. I even tried launching TheSky6 outside of CCDN2 and then adding a session which caused it to connect to the existing TheSky6 session, again without any error messages or attempts to launch a second TheSky6 session.
Not sure what's different on your system. I'm running Win7 RTM in 64-bit mode. Jonathan |
