I think it would be a good idea to show the "Available From" time for each target on the Target List. Anybody agree? One could then sort on this time and also know what "Over ride start time" to use if needed.

When you first open the list of targets, they are sorted by "Precedence" which is pretty close to the order you're asking for. (Look in the help files for a clear definition of precedence order).

In any case, I'm not sure how sorting by Available From will help you with adjusting the override time. To do that, you must want to start on a specific target. So why not just use "Find" to locate that particular target, read it's Available From time and set the override accordingly?

Maybe you're wanting to plan targets for a late start to a session. You get set up and want to plan after the beginning of darkness. In this case, just set the override time to your current time and all targets presented will be organized using that time rather than the beginning of darkness. Then you can just pick targets normally.

Or maybe I don't understand what you're wanting to do. If so, please say some more.
