Steve,
What was the bug? Do I need to reload my horizon? Thanks, Jonathan |

Your horizon should be fine. The problem was that when a Sky6 horizon file was imported (or exported) the elevation values were twice what they should be. But if you drew the horizon yourself either manually or using the telescope, it is fine.

I had long ago imported it from TheSky6 and it didn't suffer that problem. I did go ahead and re-import it using release 17, and the altitudes didn't change. There was one minor difference between the two so I'm just assuming this one is more accurate.
Related question; have you ever created a horizon panoramic image for TheSky? Thanks, Jonathan |

Never. I have decent horizons here so I don't use these features myself.

Hi Steve.
Thanks a lot for the prompt update. I was able to import the correct horizon into CCDNavigator from TheSky without issues. Gordon |
