Hi Bill,
CCDNavigator has a database of deep sky objects, it does not have any stellar catalogs. To select deep sky objects for an imaging session, you do not need Sky6 but a key feature of CCDNavigator is "EZ-Guide" which sets up a target for guiding (including autoguider exposure calculation) and lets you do precise positioning of the target. To use EZ-Guide, you will need Sky6 Professional Edition. If you watch the videos on our website, you'll see how it is used. Best regards, Steve... CCDNavigator Author |
