Good Seeing |
Hi Steve,
I've been able to build a panoramic image and import it into TheSky6 to create a photographic horizon. From that, I used the horizon editor to map the horizon obstructions using the match image button. Having done that and saved it, I've imported it into CCDNavigator and it looks pretty good, except for one thin, missing slice (see attached screen shots). Do we have an import issue? Thanks, Jonathan Missing_slice.pdf (105 KB, 35 downloads) |

Excellent Seeing |
Jonathan,
No. There is no issue and nothing is missing. In azimuth, 0 degrees and 360 degrees are one and the same. Maybe I should graph the 0 degree value at the 360 degree point but I didn't. Steve... CCDNavigator Author |

Good Seeing |
Hi Steve,
Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't noticed that TheSky6's chart was 0-359 and yours was 0-360. That certainly explains it! Thanks again! Jonathan |
