Hi,

I find that I can't use the "Open..." button to open new images into CCDI.
Upon selecting the images in the browse window and clicking "Open", the browse window closes but the images are not loaded.

Rather, I have to select them in Explorer and drag them into CCDI which works OK.

Regards,

John

Hi John,

That's a strange one! CCDI uses a standard Windows file open dialog, so it's strange that it wouldn't work. Can you please provide more details?

- Is this new with 1.3.2 or did it happen in previous versions?
- What version of Windows are you using? Is it 32 or 64 bits?
- When did you first notice this?
- Does the "open" dialog work in other software on your computer?

Regards,

-Paul

Hi Paul,

I'm running XP Pro 32 bit.
Everything else works OK on my system.

I did a little experimentation - it appears that the open box works OK for a single image, but I was trying to load 443 images from a 3 night run all at once.
The drag-and-drop of these files worked OK.

On another note, it appears that there's a bug in the chart ordering - if you order by binning, scale or exposure the chart is not sorted correctly.

Could it be related to this:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/820631

Perhaps you need to realloc the input buffer to be larger, as per the resolution for that kb article?

Hi John,

So if you select, say 20 images, does it work or fail? I don't think I've ever tried over 400 images, so that's something for me to test ;-)

I just tried with approx 40 images and they opened OK, so it looks like it's related to a large selection, as per the MS KB article.

Hi Paul,

Just to be sure - did you also spot my comment on the chart ordering bug?
