Hi,

I just upgraded my licensed copy from 1.3.2 to 1.3.4, and when I launch CCDInspector it says "CCDInspector license is invalid. Would you like to purchase a license?" I already have a valid license, but the program won't open so that I can re-enter it. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob,

If you are running on Windows Vista, please make sure UAC is turned off, and that you are logged in as Administrator. Then uninstall CCDI 1.3.4, and then try installing it again.

When installing, make sure you select the installation for "Everyone", and not "Just for me". The Just for Me option doesn't work with Windows Vista.

Regards,

-Paul

Hallo Paul,

I had some problems with my Laptop (XP) after the installation of Canon 17.1
for DSLR Cameras. The update of NET Framework was also not possible and
when I launch CCDInspector "CCDInspector license is invalid. Would
you like to purchase a license?" was displayed. I already have a valid license, but the
program won't open so that I can re-enter it. Any ideas? A new installation of CCD-Inpector
was made, no success.

Thanks,

Sincerely: Bruno

Hi Bruno,

Can you please email me a screen shot of the exact error message you are receiving:

paul [at] pk.darkhorizons.org

Are you still using XP or did you upgrade to Vista?

Please send me the CCDInspector license key and the email address you were issued for version 1, and I'll check them for you.

Regards,

-Paul

Hi Paul,

at least it was a wrong configuration of .net framework 2. I had to reset the laptop and after installing XP and the other programs again, CCD-Inspector runs quite well.

Paul: thanks for your support,

regards: Bruno
