Hello I am evaluating ccd Inspector. Every thing seems to work but the 3d plot. When I click on the tab it takes a second or two then the viewer comes up but it will never show the plot. It just remains blank with a blinking in the file tab at the top of the window.
Thanks

Hi,

3-D plot uses Microsoft Direct X 8.x and above. You'll have to make sure you have this installed:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/directx/aa937788.aspx

Also, make sure you update your graphics card drivers to the latest, enable all the graphics card 3-d acceleration options. If you have two monitors hooked up to your card, disable one. Try lowering screen resolution if you graphics card doesn't have that much memory.

There is a know issue with running Direct X under a Windows emulation mode on Apple Mac computers, so if that's your configuration, 3d plot may not work for you.

The good news is that 3-d plot has all the same information as the 2-d plot (2-d plot shows more, actually). The 3-d plot is just a little more visual in nature. You'll be able to test out all the important features of CCDInspector, even if you can't see the 3-d plot.

Regards,

-Paul
