Hi Pierre,
It's a good idea to do a dark subtraction on images that are analyzed in CCDI. A flat is not required. You can certainly apply a dark before bringing the image into CCDI, or you can apply a scaled dark directly in CCDI by clicking on the "Reduce" check box. Then, select a dark frame, and/or a bias frame. If you chose a bias and a dark frame, CCDI2 will automatically scale the dark frame to adjust for different length exposures of the images being analyzed. Regards, -Paul |
