Hi,
Does CCDInspector give an optimal exposure time for the current sky conditions (background light), camera type etc? In other words, can I take a test picture and have CCDInspector tell me to increase/decrease the exposure time? Thanks. Larry Leitch |

Hi Larry,
CCDInspector doesn't do this, but there's a handy CCD Exposure calculator available on CCDWare website: http://ccdware.com/resources/ Check out the instructions link at the top of the calculator page for directions. Regards, -Paul |

Hi Larry,
This is a capability in CCDAutoPilot4 Professional. You may want to give the trial a test run to evaluate a suggested minimum exposure time. See the Tools topic under the CCDAutoPilot4 help system. John CCDAutoPilot author |

Thanks John,
I will give that a try now that Summer is about over. It has been 4 months since I have been able to setup because of weather mainly. A 30/60 day trial period would have expired before I had a chance to use it. Larry |
